Description
As a highly skilled and motivated Technical Lead with expertise in enterprise Linux environments, your role will involve designing, implementing, and supporting mission-critical Linux infrastructure. You will provide technical leadership to a team of systems engineers, driving high-impact projects in a fast-paced enterprise environment. - Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Linux systems such as RHEL and SLES. - Implement and support Linux High Availability solutions using Pacemaker/Corosync, HA-LVM, GFS2, and SUSE HAE. - Manage virtualization infrastructure using KVM, libvirt, virsh, and qemu-kvm. Experience with RHV/oVirt is a strong plus. - Administer and maintain Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning, patch management, and content lifecycle. - Design and support Identity & Access Management integrations using Red Hat IdM/FreeIPA, Kerberos, LDAP, and Active Directory. - Develop and maintain scripts in Bash and Python to automate routine tasks and streamline operations. - Troubleshoot complex networking issues and manage TCP/IP networking, routing, and firewall configurations. - Serve as a technical leader and mentor to junior engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement. - Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between infrastructure, security, and application teams. - Communicate technical concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders, from engineers to executives. Required Qualifications: Technical Expertise: - Deep knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES). - Hands-on experience with Linux High Availability tools: Pacemaker, Corosync, HA-LVM, GFS2, SUSE HAE. - Strong proficiency with KVM virtualization, including libvirt, virsh, qemu-kvm; RHV/oVirt experience is advantageous. - Practical experience using Red Hat Satellite for patching, provisioning, and content management. - In-depth understanding of SSO and IAM tools such as FreeIPA, Kerberos, LDAP, and AD integration. - Advanced scripting skills in Bash and Python. - Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and diagnostics. Leadership & Soft Skills: - Proven leadership in managing and mentoring technical teams. - Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve high performance. - Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas. - Capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment. - Self-starter with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: - Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), SUSE Certified Engineer, or equivalent certifications. - Experience working in large-scale enterprise or cloud environments. - Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Ansible, Git, Jenkins),
