As a Software Engineer on the team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of Cisco NFVIS product, you will work with cutting-edge technologies to provide customers with innovative solutions. NFVIS, based on Linux KVM technologies, allows for efficient management of Virtual Machines and Container lifecycles on Cisco custom hardware and provisioning through Cisco SD-WAN orchestrator or NFVIS-GUI. As the Software Development Technical Lead at Cisco, you will be part of a team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of Cisco NFVIS (Network Function Virtualization Infrastructure Software) product. This product is based on Linux KVM technologies and is deployed in prestigious customer deployments. NFVIS allows customers to manage VM and Container lifecycles, both Cisco and 3rd Party, uniquely on Cisco custom hardware and Cisco General Compute HW. The team has ownership of CI/CD with automation for features, managing release collaterals, and operating in a high-touch model for key customer accounts. In your role, you will lead the design, development, and release in a dynamic agile environment using modern methodologies and open-source tools. You will be responsible for owning your work, delivering elegant and scalable solutions, and collaborating with a multi-functional team to tackle real problems and meet customer needs.
