Infrastructure Specialist

As a Specialist - Infrastructure Support/IT Support, your role will involve managing, configuring, and monitoring Sophos Firewalls (XG, XGS series) and administering and troubleshooting Ruckus WiFi networks (SmartZone, Unleashed, and Cloud). You will also be responsible for performing routine tasks related to Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP. Your key responsibilities include: - Providing Level 2 support for network, server, and security-related incidents. - Conducting firewall policy updates, firmware upgrades, VPN setup, and monitoring. - Monitoring network traffic and performance to optimize throughput and security. - Handling Wi-Fi SSID setups, guest portals, VLAN tagging, and access point provisioning. - Managing user accounts and permissions in Active Directory. - Collaborating with Level 1 and Level 3 teams to resolve escalated issues. - Creating and maintaining documentation for configurations, procedures, and infrastructure. - Participating in audits and compliance efforts related to IT infrastructure. Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in IT support or network administration. - Strong experience with Sophos XG/XGS Firewalls, including policies, NAT, IPS, and VPNs. - Solid hands-on experience with Ruckus WiFi systems, including access point deployment and SmartZone controller management. - Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP. - Good understanding of LAN/WAN concepts, TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols. - Experience with system monitoring tools and ticketing systems. - Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Strong communication and documentation abilities.,
