AWS Infrastructure Specialist

• Manage and administer AWS infrastructure components (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.).
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Automate cloud management tasks using Python, Bash, or equivalent scripting languages.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure using CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, and other monitoring tools.
• Ensure network fundamentals (DNS, firewall rules, virtual networks) are properly configured and secure.
• Support incident resolution and root cause analysis for production-level issues.
• Maintain detailed system documentation and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support scalable, reliable, and secure AWS deployments.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS administration experience.
• Strong expertise with AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM.
• Proficiency in IaC tools: Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting experience in Python, Bash, or equivalent.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK).
• Familiarity with network fundamentals (DNS, firewall rules, virtual networks).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for production environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certifications (e.g., SysOps Administrator).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
