Job Description

Position: Infrastructure Manager

Grade AGM

Location: Pune, India

Job Purpose:

Infrastructure Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Land Acquisition & Management

  • Identify and secure suitable land parcels for renewable energy generation, hydrogen/ammonia plants, and associated infrastructure.
  • Liaise with government departments, industrial development bodies, and private landowners.
  • Manage all land-related documentation, approvals, and clearances.

Port & Logistics Infrastructure

  • Identify and evaluate suitable port facilities for ammonia export/import operations.
  • Liaise with port authorities, shipping lines, and logistics partners for berth allocation, storage facilities, and material handling systems.
  • Oversee design and development of port-based infrastructure to meet project needs.
  • Ensure end to end management of smallest to largest infrastructure related matters in timely and cost effective manner

Power Evacuation (PE)

  • Plan, design, and coordinate power evacuation infrastructure from renewable energy sources (solar, wind, hybrid) to the Green Hydrogen/Ammonia facility.
  • Liaise with central/state transmission utilities (CTU/STU) for grid connectivity approvals, transmission line routing, and substation integration.
  • Ensure compliance with grid codes, technical standards, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor construction, testing, and commissioning of transmission infrastructure.

Project Execution Support

  • Identify and evaluate water availability, ensure water quality and secure the water as per project requirements.
  • Provide cost estimates, technical inputs, and timelines for PE, port, and land components to feed into the overall project plan.
  • Support the India Business Head in integrating these components into project budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 8–12 years in infrastructure development with proven experience in land acquisition, power evacuation, port/logistics infrastructure, etc for large-scale industrial or renewable projects.
  • Strong network within port authorities, and land regulatory agencies.
  • Track record of securing approvals and delivering infrastructure on time and within budget.
  • Detailed oriented and highly organized person, problem solver

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of grid integration, port operations, and land acquisition processes in India.
  • Effective negotiation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Problem-solving and execution-focused mindset.
  • High adaptability to startup environments with tight timelines
