No of Positions-2 Desirable - The incumbent will be responsible for end to end Land Acquisition acitvities, Frequent travelling to multiple sites and will be supporting multiple stakeholders across Sterlite Power Transmission and Substation Sites Years of Experience - 9 year to 15 years Key Responsibility Area- Lead the development and implementation of Land Acquisition process to ensure Sterlite Power project delivery on time and within budget. Liaison with owners, brokers, facilitators etc for evaluating land and properties and proposing feasible options for development. Develop and Review of Land Acquisition Plans Policies and Legal Frameworks Provide high level of Land Acquisition services and performance to ensure customer (Projects/ Management) satisfaction Drive / monitoring of Land Acquisition performance metrics, reporting of metrics to project mgmt/senior mgmt team. Identifying risks and proposing mitigation steps to safeguard company's interest into land acquisition function. Complete feasibility as well as legal due diligence of different properties including physical verification process. Coordinate with legal consultants, Revenue departments for title scrutiny and marketability. Strengthen Communication Strategy, Develop and meet requirements of National and Multilateral requirements, Maintain Cost efficiency, Budgets planning and asset management Make detailed business plan and evaluate if the land opportunity makes commercial sense and then present to the management. Handholding of project teams for ensuring smooth work on the site acquired by us which also includes post acquisition compliances like mutations, diversions etc. Essential - Should have negotiated / part of the negotiation of land for at least/ minimum 6 years to 15 years across different sectors. Roles & Responsibility: Set up the SOP for site survey and design. Supervise the work of the design engineer for accuracy, optimization of design as per site survey conducted. Should be updated with the latest technologies in panels, inverters, structures, racking techniques, installation techniques, etc. Liaison with the Business Development Team to understand the client's requirements to ensure plant design & engineering is pre-approved and incorporated in the PPA. Execution: - Should have executed a minimum of 20 C&I/ utility projects across tin/ RCC roofs as well as ground-mounted projects. (At least 1 project should be 5 MW+) Inspecting field sites to observe, evaluate condition, the operability of facilities and structures, Collect field survey data, and measurements. Check drawings, specifications, and BOQ for allotted work; And report any deviations. Knowledge of state-of-art technical skills in materials & methods in the construction of large projects. Prepare defects/ snag list and provide instructions for rectification. Collection of data, analysis, and design of structures. Prepare daily, weekly & monthly reports as required by supervision and management teams. Formulate project baseline, monitoring, controlling, resource deployment, quality compliance & ensure satisfactory execution of projects. Guide project management, scheduling, planning, erection, and commissioning of the project within stipulated timelines. Managing contractors and vendors. Ensuring safety is given the highest priority during the installation and execution of the project. Required Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelors in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field in Project Management. Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in solar or renewable energy. Technical Skills: Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Sound knowledge of solar PV systems and EPC lifecycle. Soft Skills: Strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and negotiation skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure. Performance Metrics Timeliness and quality of project delivery. Client satisfaction and approval rates.
