Job Title:

Infrastructure Engineering Advisor Distribution Services

Position Overview:

In this role, you will provide experience packaging software for large scare deployments, enabling the business through software delivery. You will working with a team charged with readying software for delivery to 200, 000 endpoints, locally, globally, virtual and physical.

Job Overview:

Cigna is seeking a talented Infrastructure Engineering Advisor to work within the Endpoint Platform Operations team responsible for distributing software packages across the enterprise

Responsibilities:

You will work closely with various teams, managing software distributions, and much more.

Youll specifically be creating custom deployments for distribution across the different business areas all the while handling test and release of their applications.

The person in this role should be highly technical with a broad set of skills and experience.

They should be an expert in end user computing, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices and related applications, peripherals, and tools.

This person develops solutions and assists with integration that supports end user computing, such as applications, mobile and midrange devices. Specific roles include hand-off coordination between Engineering, Operations and software packaging, along with aiding in the maintenance and troubleshooting of software deployments.

They should have excellent troubleshooting skills and be a creative and forward thinker.

The candidate should also have excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Lastly, they should strive for efficiency by improving and documenting the distribution process.

Education:

Any bachelor s degree

Experience:

Minimum of 11-13 years of experience in Workforce Management.

Skills:

Requires experience in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). SCCM is utilized for the deployment of software packages to workstations and servers across the enterprise.

Requires experience in Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server 2022 operating systems.

Preferred experience in Flexera (App Portal). This software provides our colleagues the ability to shop for applications to perform self-installs. Having knowledge in creating, modifying and removal of App Portal entries.

Preferred experience in Service Now (SNOW). This software provides intuitive workflow across the enterprise for tracking incident and change tickets.

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
