Infrastructure Engineering Advisor
Position Overview:
The Infrastructure Engineering Advisor position will represent Client Engineering as part of the Endpoint Automation team. This team engineers, develops and supports automation routines that manage the lifecycle of our Windows workstation endpoints .
Job Overview:
The position supports the endpoint automation needs for Client Engineering and will have the opportunity to support and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the Cigna Technology organization. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation routines, primarily within the Microsoft System Center Orchestrator platform as well as maintaining the health, stability and product currency of the System Center Orchestrator platform.

Designing and developing new automation processes and enhancing existing processes, performance tuning, production support, reporting and technical documentation.

Work within an Agile Kanban development team to deliver value to the organization

Meet with stakeholders to define development efforts

Troubleshoot issues that arise throughout the development process or in production

Monitor running processes and recommend improvements
-
Ability to establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships across the Client s organization.
Qualifications:
Education
Experience

Demonstrated experience with Microsoft System Center Orchestrator or other orchestration platform

Demonstrated experience integrating multiple systems via API
-
Strong experience with PowerShell and MS SQL
Skills

Strong analytical and technical skills

Technical skills that will benefit the candidate in the role:

Ability to create and follow logic flow diagrams

Experience with integrating systems via REST and SOAP APIs.

Knowledge of MS SQL for the purposes of selecting and updating data and creating views and stored procedures

Creating and editing reports in SQL Server Reporting Services and/or Tableau
-
General understanding of authentication and authorization technologies such as Kerberos, OAuth, OIDC, etc. and how to work with them
-
Experience with structured data and markdown languages such as JSON, XML, HTML
-
Strong skill in developing and troubleshooting PowerShell scripts

Experience integrating with Service Now

Experience with Git

Self-motivated, organized team player who collaborates well with coworkers and upholds high integrity

Ability to prioritize and meet timelines and deadlines
