Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting. This position involves overseeing complex projects, driving strategic initiatives, and managing a team of developers to ensure high-quality solutions that align with business goals. Roles & Responsibilities:Leadership and Strategy:oLead the development and implementation of ServiceNow solutions aligned with organizational objectives.oCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize business requirements, converting them into actionable ServiceNow solutions.oCreate and drive the roadmap for ServiceNow capabilities, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.Development and Customization:oDesign, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.oCustomize ServiceNow to meet business requirements using scripting, configuration, and integrations.oEnsure scalability, reliability, and security of the ServiceNow solutions.Team Management:oLead and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers, promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment.oOversee project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables for successful project execution.oProvide technical guidance and best practices to the team.Process Optimization:oIdentify and implement process improvements and automation using ServiceNow features.oIntegrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems to streamline workflows.oMaintain thorough documentation of configurations, customizations, and workflows.Governance and Compliance:oEnsure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.oImplement governance practices for ServiceNow development and use. Professional & Technical Skills: Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or related field; advanced degree preferred.9+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration, including at least 3+ years in a leadership role.Expertise in ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or SecOps.Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS, and other scripting languages used in ServiceNow.Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers, and third-party tools.ServiceNow certifications (Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer) are highly desirable.Strong knowledge of ITIL/ITSM frameworks and Agile methodologies.
