Job Description

Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting. Must have skills : Oracle Database Administration Good to have skills : NA Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : Graduate Summary :Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.Role:Oracle Database Administrator Roles & Responsibilities: Provide Oracle Database Administration support and troubleshooting, including install Oracle software, patches and upgrades; manage and monitor tablespaces; experience in configuring Goldengate and troubleshoot issues. Perform all related database functions, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Assist the Configuration Management Team with project migrations that require database objects to be built/rebuilt (Tables). Configure and manage RMAN backup and recovery; performed database cloning and data refresh using export and import datapump backup. Monitor database performance; performed data change requests, migration and rebuild for database maintenance. Analyze capacity and growth of databases using various automated testing tools and performance optimization. Monitor the performance of the application and the jobs at the database level. Work with applications teams to provide ongoing performance support. Professional & Technical Skills: Must Have Skills:Oracle 11g and 12c, Golden Gate, SQL Plus, ASM, Unix basic commands, ITIL certified, good communication skills. Good To Have Skills:PostgreSQL or MYSQL. Perform database cloning and data refresh using export and import data pump and RMAN. Configure and manage physical and logical standby databases. Interpersonal skills Additional Information: Candidate should have 3 -4 years of experience in oracle database administration. Should have 1 year experience in RAC.
