Infra Monitoring Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Running workshops with various teams, including App/Dev, Infra, SRE, and Security.
  
• Building an inventory of services, telemetry sources, and exporters across all seven data centers.
  
• Conducting the Observability Maturity Assessment and identifying gaps in coverage related to Golden Signals.
  
• Designing the complete observability architecture, including Prometheus federation, exporters, alert rules, Grafana dashboards, and RBAC.
  
• Defining SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets while working with business and engineering teams.
  
• Translating findings from discoveries into a clear roadmap for execution.
  
• Hands-on experience with website infrastructure is a plus.
  

Implementation Oversight

• Providing reference architecture and design plans for the engineering team.
  
• Ensuring technical design matches business goals, such as a status health page, transparency, and customer trust.
  
• Supporting plans for integrating self-healing, anomaly detection, and AI insight
  

Experience Requirements:

• At least seven years of experience in observability or monitoring architecture
  
• Hands-on expertise in Prometheus, including exporters, federation, remote storage, and Alertmanager, as well as Grafana for dashboards, RBAC, integrations, and templating.
  
• Proven experience in establishing observability solutions for multiple data centers.
  
• Strong background in SLI/SLO frameworks, error budgeting, and Golden Signals.
  
• Experience leading discovery sessions and workshops with stakeholders.
  
• Familiarity with AIOps and self-healing frameworks, including anomaly detection and automated runbooks.
