Information Technology Executive

As an IT Executive specializing in Networking and CCTV, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our organization's networking infrastructure and CCTV camera systems. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth operation of our network and CCTV systems, troubleshooting any issues that may arise, and implementing new technologies to enhance efficiency and security. In the realm of networking, you will be tasked with managing and maintaining our local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless network infrastructure. This will involve configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as ensuring network security and implementing measures to prevent unauthorized access. Monitoring network performance and optimizing network configuration for maximum efficiency will also be among your key duties. Regarding CCTV cameras, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our CCTV camera systems, encompassing cameras, recorders, and monitors. This will entail configuring and troubleshooting CCTV camera systems, including camera settings and recording schedules, to ensure that the systems are functioning correctly and providing high-quality video footage. Additionally, you will monitor CCTV camera systems and promptly respond to any incidents or issues that may arise. In addition to your networking and CCTV responsibilities, you will provide technical support to employees for IT-related issues, assist in implementing new IT projects and technologies, and develop and uphold IT policies and procedures. Staying abreast of the latest IT trends and technologies will also be essential to your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT, focusing on networking and CCTV camera systems. Proficiency in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, as well as experience with network security measures like firewalls and access controls, will be required. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications are preferred. Certifications in CCTV camera systems are also advantageous.
