Informatica IDMC Administrator

As an Informatica IDMC Admin at Vivid Edge Corp, your role will involve configuring and maintaining the Informatica IDMC platform at Pune. You will be responsible for scaling, tuning, and optimizing the environment, integrating with enterprise and cloud systems, administering platform security, supporting the project development lifecycle, working with enterprise architects to design best practices, monitoring, troubleshooting, automating, and handling ETL and data integration development and testing. Key Responsibilities: - Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade Informatica IDMC software and environments according to business and technical requirements. - User & Access Management: Manage users, groups, roles, and permissions, including setting up authentication and authorization. - Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Informatica setups, workflows, and integrations. Provide technical guidance to team members. - System Maintenance: Perform updates, patches, upgrades, backups, restores, and disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability. - Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the SME for Informatica products like Data Quality, Metadata Manager, and Reporting Services. - Operational Tasks: Handle patch installations, password changes, network updates, service restarts, and bouncing activities as needed. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Informatica IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud) Administration. - Experience in installation, configuration, and upgrades of Informatica IDMC. - Strong knowledge of user, role, and access management including authentication and authorization. - Ability to troubleshoot Informatica setups, workflows, and integrations. - Familiarity with system maintenance tasks such as patches, updates, backups, restores, and disaster recovery. - Expertise in Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Metadata Manager, and Reporting Services. - Skills in patch management, password changes, service restarts, and performance monitoring & optimization of Informatica environments. - Understanding of networking concepts for connectivity and integrations. - Knowledge of backup and recovery processes. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Experience working in hybrid environments.
