Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for an Infection Control Nurse. The role involves developing and implementing infection prevention and control policies, monitoring and managing infection outbreaks, and educating healthcare staff on evidence-based practices to maintain a sanitary environment. The Infection Control Nurse will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, conduct regular audits on infection control practices, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement best practices for patient safety.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and practical expertise in Infection Control and Infectious Diseases management
• Expertise in Nursing practices and procedures, with a focus on maintaining quality patient care
• Familiarity with Medicine and standards of care for infection prevention
• Clinical experience in handling infection-related cases
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to train healthcare staff on infection control protocols
• Attention to detail and capability to perform thorough audits and maintain detailed records
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or equivalent qualification, with additional certification in infection control (CIC) preferred
• Experience in a hospital setting or healthcare environment, particularly in infection control or related fields
