Role Overview: As an accomplished Industry Solutions Leader CPG, you will be responsible for driving the development and adoption of innovative AI and Analytics solutions on the proprietary 1 Platform. Your role will involve leveraging industry expertise, advanced analytics, and client engagement to help CPG organizations unlock value from their data assets. You will conceptualize, design, and commercialize industry-specific AI and analytics use cases, ranging from commercial insights/patient journey analytics to sales performance management, supply chain, and market access strategies. A critical aspect of your role will be to partner with sales and client success teams to support business development cycles, shape client solution roadmaps, and act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand business challenges, current state, and data maturity. - Collaborate with sales and solution architects to define business use cases, target outcomes, and solution scope. - Conduct competitive and market research to inform solution design and positioning. - Support the creation and delivery of client-facing presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept plans. - Develop pre-sales collateral including client problem statements and tailored value propositions, functional requirement outlines, workflow/process maps, and high-level solution blueprints. - Translate client business requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications for technical teams. - Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and visualization experts to shape data pipelines, analytical models, and dashboards. - Bring domain expertise in CPG supply chain management, trade promotions, retail and consumer analytics, demand forecasting, and category management. - Work extensively with industry-leading data assets such as Nielsen, IRI, retailer POS data, shopper loyalty datasets, and syndicated consumer panels. - Stay informed on regulatory frameworks (FDA, FSMA, ESG), privacy compliance, and emerging analytics trends (omnichannel, digital shelf, dynamic pricing, DTC models). Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in CPG or related field. - 10+ years of experience in business analysis roles supporting CPG clients, ideally at a consulting, analytics, or digital services firm. - Strong understanding of the data & analytics lifecycle and ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions. - Experience contributing to pre-sales deliverables, proposals, and solution design workshops. - Hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks). - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior client stakeholders. - Experience with Data-warehousing/Visualization tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Qliksense & Power BI. - Experience with CRM/MCM tools (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce) and data models like OMOP or CDISC. - Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and agile delivery methods. - MBA, MPH, or a relevant master's degree. - Business analysis or pre-sales certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Pre-Sales Technical Consultant certs).
