Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

  • Data collection:
  • Collecting data from production lines, quality assurance inspections, and other relevant sources.
  • Assisting in the use of data collection tools and equipment.
  • Data recording:
  • Accurately recording and entering data into spreadsheets (MS-Excel/Google Sheets) or our database system.
  • Maintaining organized and up-to-date data records.
  • Quality control:
  • Performing routine quality checks and visual inspections on products at various stages of production.
  • Documenting and reporting any defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformance issues.
  • Assisting with the documentation of inspection results.
  • Reporting:
  • Assisting with basic data analysis to identify trends and quality issues.
  • Helping prepare summary reports on production and quality metrics for the management team.
  • Process improvement:
  • Collaborating with team members to identify areas for process improvement based on collected data.
  • Contributing to root cause analysis for recurring quality problems.
About Company: Ekta Casting manufactures a wide variety of steel and iron parts for basic industry. These are replacement parts for high-wear applications, such as those that take abuse from abrasion, impact, or heat in rock crushers, grinding mills, mine shovels and draglines, electric power plants, cement plants, and metal and waste recycling shredders. We are a vertically integrated manufacturer with all the departments in-house to engineer and manufacture castings.
