Indian Language Translator

As an Indian Language Translator based in Delhi, Noida, or Navi Mumbai, your role will involve handling various Translation, Editing, and Proofreading projects in languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya, Assamese, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, etc. You are required to have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree with advanced proficiency in English and at least one of the Indian languages mentioned above. Additionally, you should have excellent typing skills in the respective language and be eager to learn and adapt to advanced Translation Tools like CAT. Your attitude should reflect a willingness to learn, be polite, generous, and easily adaptable to the company's environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage Translation, Editing & Proofreading projects in various domains from English to any of the Indian languages mentioned. - Handle interpretation assignments in the respective languages. - Coordinate with clients and other translators effectively. - Collaborate with production teams to establish and maintain appropriate procedures, solutions, checklists, and instructions for specific clients or projects. - Resolve queries and issues promptly for clients, translators, and internal teams. - Oversee localization projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and timely delivery within budget constraints. - Provide daily project updates to the Team Leader. - Assist the project manager in maintaining project standards. - Proficiently manage Translation Memories.
