As an Indian Language Translator based in Delhi, Noida, and Navi Mumbai, your role will involve handling various translation, editing, and proofreading projects from English to any of the Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya, Assamese, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, etc. You will also be responsible for interpretation assignments in your respective languages, coordinating with clients and other translators, and collaborating with production teams to ensure project-specific procedures are implemented effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Translate, edit, and proofread projects in different domains from English to Indian languages. - Handle interpretation assignments in Indian languages. - Coordinate with clients and other translators for project requirements. - Collaborate with production teams to develop and maintain project-specific procedures, solutions, checklists, and instructions. - Resolve questions and issues promptly for clients, translators, and internal teams. - Manage localization projects from initiation to delivery while meeting quality processing time frames and budget constraints. - Provide daily project updates to the Team Leader. - Assist the project manager in maintaining project standards. - Manage Translation Memories effectively. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree with advanced knowledge in any Indian language mentioned above. - Proficiency in English and at least one of the Indian languages. - Typing proficiency in the relevant Indian language. - Inquisitive nature with adaptive learning potential for advanced Translation Tools. - Positive attitude, politeness, generosity, and adaptability to the company's environment.
