Incubation Manager

Sree Sakthi Engineering College, Karamadai is seeking a proactive and experienced Incubation Manager to lead day-to-day operations at the Pre-Incubation Centre (SSEC-PIC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing student innovations, supporting early-stage startups, coordinating with ecosystem stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution of incubation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all incubation center operations in collaboration with the PIC Coordinator.
• Identify, onboard, and mentor student entrepreneurs, project teams, and early-stage startups.
• Develop and implement incubation processes, from ideation to early-stage commercialization.
• Plan and execute events such as workshops, hackathons, demo days, and pitch sessions.
• Collaborate with Government agencies (TIDE, AIM, DST, DeITY, etc.), corporates, and CSR arms for funding and technical support.
• Manage incubation resources, budgets, grants, and donor funds effectively and transparently.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with mentors, investors, startups, faculty, and other ecosystem enablers.
• Track incubatee progress and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably IT-related), Economics, or Commerce.
• MBA in Finance, Entrepreneurship, or Marketing is preferred.
• 5–10 years of work experience in early-stage startup ecosystems, preferably in an incubation/acceleration environment.
• Prior experience in reputed academic incubators or startup support programs.
• Strong background in managing government-funded programs and grants (TIDE, DST, AIM, DeITY, etc.).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.

Salary:

Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience as per institutional norms and UGC/Tamil Nadu Government guidelines.
