Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Incubation Manager to lead the universitys startup incubation center. The ideal candidate will have 4-9 years of experience in startup ecosystem management, business incubation, or entrepreneurship support. This role will focus on nurturing student-led startups, facilitating mentorship programs, organizing events, and building partnerships to drive innovation and entrepreneurial growth within Rama Universitys ecosystem. Key Responsibilities • Startup Mentorship & Guidance: Provide hands-on mentoring to incubated startups, offering advice on business planning, product development, market strategies, and scaling operations. • Program Management: Oversee the incubation program, including application evaluation, selection of startups, and monitoring their progress through milestones and KPIs. • Event & Workshop Coordination: Plan and execute entrepreneurship workshops, hackathons, demo days, and networking events to foster innovation and connect startups with industry experts. • Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with investors, venture capitalists, industry partners, alumni networks, and government bodies to secure funding, resources, and collaboration opportunities. • Resource Allocation: Manage incubation facilities, including co-working spaces, labs, and tools; ensure efficient allocation of seed funding, grants, and other resources. • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Analyze startup performance metrics, prepare reports on incubation outcomes, and recommend improvements to enhance program effectiveness. • Community Building: Engage with the university community to promote entrepreneurship, identify potential innovators, and create a supportive ecosystem for idea incubation. • Compliance & Funding: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for incubation programs and assist in applying for government grants or university funding. • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on emerging trends in entrepreneurship, technology, and startup ecosystems to integrate best practices into the program. Qualifications • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Management, or a related field. • 4-9 years of hands-on experience in business incubation, startup mentoring, venture capital, or entrepreneurship development. • Proven track record of supporting startups from ideation to launch, preferably in an academic or incubator setting. • Familiarity with funding mechanisms, pitch decks, business modeling tools, and startup evaluation frameworks. • Strong networking and interpersonal skills, with experience in building partnerships across industries. • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a collaborative, dynamic environment. • Knowledge of intellectual property, legal aspects of startups, and government schemes (e.g., Startup India) is a plus. • Experience in the education or higher education sector is preferred but not required.
