Incoming Quality Engineer

* Candidate must have at least 6+ years of Experience in Incoming Quality.

* Must able to read Engineering Drawings and understand GD&T.

* Must have Machine shop & Fabrication Process knowledge ( Sheet metal, Plates,Raw materials, SS, MS )

• Inspect and verify incoming raw materials, components, and Purchased parts as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Approve or reject incoming materials based on inspection results and document NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
• Perform dimensional inspection using tools like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
• Check material test certificates (MTC), supplier documents, and compliance certificates.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and update incoming material quality reports.
• Coordinate with the Purchase team and Stores to ensure proper material flow and segregation of rejected items.
• Follow up with suppliers for corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure closure of quality issues.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and assist in supplier evaluation and development.
• Ensure calibration and proper usage of all inspection instruments.
• Support new material trials, first sample inspections, and approve materials before mass production.
• Implement and follow IQC procedures, SOPs, and quality standards (ISO-related).
• Communicate critical issues immediately to QA Manager and Production teams to avoid line stoppage.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in Incoming Quality / Inspection (preferably in manufacturing).
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, material specifications.
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments and inspection tools.
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 systems (added advantage).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
