Income Auditor

The Hotel Income Auditor is responsible for verifying, balancing, and reporting the financial activities of the property. This role ensures the accuracy of daily revenue, supports internal controls, and assists with improving financial processes across front office, food & beverage, and other revenue-generating departments.

Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Revenue & Audit Tasks

• Review and reconcile daily revenue reports from all hotel outlets (Front Desk, F&B, Spa, Retail, etc.).
• Verify room rates, adjustments, discounts, comps, and voids to ensure compliance with hotel policies.
• Balance cash, credit card, and other payment types posted in the Property Management System (PMS).
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or unusual transactions.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and distribute daily revenue and audit reports to department heads and management.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial documentation and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and audit trails for internal and external review.

Systems & Controls

• Ensure proper operation and reconciliation of PMS, POS, and accounting software.
• Monitor internal controls to protect company assets and minimize financial risk.
• Recommend improvements for procedures related to revenue reporting and cash handling.

Communication & Support

• Work closely with Front Office, Accounting, F&B, and Operations teams to resolve billing or revenue issues.
• Provide support during internal/external audits.
• Train staff on proper documentation and revenue-capture procedures when needed.

QualificationsEducation & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in hotel accounting or night audit preferred.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
