Import - Export Executive

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end import and export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.

Ensure accurate assignment of HS codes, commodity codes, and countries of origin in line with customs and trade regulations.

Prepare and review customs clearance instructions and support smooth processing of shipments at ports of entry.

Handle compliance requirements for international trade, including country-specific forms and declarations.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, documents, and approvals in digital systems.

Support cost allocation and reporting for freight, duties, and related charges.

Compliance & Quality Control

Maintain strict compliance with customs regulations and internal SOPs.

Ensure correct legal entity declarations to avoid VAT and customs risks.

Perform final checks on all documents to ensure alignment between invoices, packing lists, and customs data.

Maintain a reliable document filing system.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

24 years of experience in import/export operations or logistics coordination.

Strong knowledge of customs procedures, HS/commodity codes, and trade compliance.

Proficiency with Excel (data management and formulas) and cloud-based documentation tools.

Experience working with Amazon Seller Central or other e-commerce export platforms is an advantage.

Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Strong communication skills for liaising with international partners and service providers.
