Job Title:
Import-Export and International Sales Executive
Position Overview:
Matrix Exports is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Import-Export and International Sales
Executive to strengthen our international business operations. The ideal candidate will be
instrumental in driving the company’s global expansion through proactive sales efficient trade
management and strong client relationship development.
Key Responsibilities
1. International Sales & Business Development
Identify and target prospective clients in international markets to generate leads and drive
sales.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals and expand market
presence.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing international clients.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals with high profitability.
Note: Sales performance will be the key criterion for PPO (Pre-Placement Offer) and ongoing
evaluation OF INTERNSHIP AND PPO.
2. Import-Export Operations
Handle complete import-export operations including documentation, customs clearance,
and logistics.
Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, Incoterms, and shipping documentation.
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure smooth delivery
cycles.
Resolve issues related to customs discrepancies, shipping delays, and documentation errors.
3. Market Research & Analysis
Conduct research on international market trends, competitor activities, and emerging
opportunities.
Provide insights for strategy refinement and business growth.
Compile reports on sales metrics market insights and process efficiency.
4. Client Communication & Support
Serve as the key point of contact for international clients, offering prompt and professional.
support.
Share product information, send quotations, and manage after-sales queries.
Maintain accurate and updated client interaction records.
5. Documentation & Compliance
prepare and review shipping documents like invoices packing lists and certificates of origin
Ensure adherence to trade laws export-import compliance and documentation standards.
Stay updated on changes in international trade regulations and tariffs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade or related fields.
2–3 years of experience in international sales, import-export operations, or similar roles.
Strong knowledge of global trade regulations, Incoterms, and shipping procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) CRM tool experience is a plus. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) additional languages are a plus.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Salary & Benefits
Stipend during probation (6 months) ₹8,000/month + performance-based incentives.
Note: Minimum of 1 successful sales during probation is required to maintain stipend
eligibility MONTHLY . Non-performance may lead to revisions.
Mandatory 6-month internship for freshers FOR PPO ELIGIBILITY
