Job Description

Prepare, review, and finalize Letter of Credit (LC) drafts in coordination with suppliers and banks. Liaise with international suppliers to obtain required shipping and commercial documents. Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, RBI, and other relevant regulations. Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHAs, and shipping lines for smooth cargo clearance. Maintain import documentation (BL, AWB, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.) as per internal audit and statutory requirements. Monitor import shipments and ensure timely delivery and clearance at ports. Follow up with banks for LC amendments, discrepancy resolutions, and timely payment processing. Maintain updated records of import costs, duties, and logistics expenses. Prepare MIS reports related to imports and submit them to management periodically.
