IMOS Designer

Role Overview: As an IMOS Designer at Gamut HR Solutions, you will be responsible for designing and developing furniture and interior fit-outs using IMOS software. Your role will involve creating CAD designs, specifying materials, and ensuring that designs meet client requirements. You will work closely with production teams to oversee the manufacturing process and provide technical guidance to junior designers. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize IMOS software to design and develop customized furniture solutions and detailed layouts. - Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand design requirements and translate them into actionable designs. - Ensure all design work adheres to company and industry standards, focusing on innovation and practical functionality. - Prepare and present design proposals and specifications to clients and partners for approvals. - Oversee the production process to ensure accurate execution of designs on the manufacturing floor. - Evaluate completed furniture prototypes and suggest design modifications for improvement. - Stay updated with industry trends to incorporate modern techniques and materials into design practices. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers, aiding in their development. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of four years" experience in a relevant design role, specializing in IMOS software. - Expertise in furniture design and producing detailed design documentation for interior fit-outs. - Proficiency in CAD design with the ability to create accurate and detailed plans. - Familiarity with material specification and the capacity to select materials based on project requirements. - Comprehensive woodworking knowledge to assess and implement viable furniture designs tailored to client needs. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines, with strong attention to detail. - Good communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations.,
