IMOS Designer

Role Overview: As an IMOS Designer at Gamut HR Solutions, your primary responsibility will be to design and develop furniture and interior fit-outs using IMOS software. You will be expected to have 4 to 6 years of experience in this field and possess expertise in CAD design and material specification. Your role will involve collaborating with clients and internal teams to create customized furniture solutions that meet project requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize IMOS software to design and develop customized furniture solutions and detailed layouts. - Collaborate with clients and internal teams to comprehend design requirements and translate them into actionable designs. - Ensure all design work adheres to company and industry standards, integrating innovation and practical functionality. - Prepare and present design proposals and specifications to clients and partners for approvals. - Oversee the production process to ensure designs are executed correctly and effectively on the manufacturing floor. - Evaluate completed furniture prototypes and suggest design modifications for improvement. - Stay updated with industry trends to incorporate modern techniques and materials into design practices. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers and assist in their development. Qualifications Required: - Proven minimum of four years" experience in a relevant design role, specializing in IMOS software (Mandatory skill). - Expertise in furniture design and producing detailed design documentation in interior fit-outs (Mandatory skill). - Proficiency in CAD design with the ability to produce accurate and detailed plans. - Familiarity with material specification and the ability to select materials based on project requirements. - Comprehensive woodworking knowledge to assess and implement viable furniture designs tailored to client needs. - Ability to work closely with production teams to ensure that designs are produced accurately and within scope. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. - Good communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations.,
