Job Description

Role & Background: Onward Technologies is a young fast-growing company in Digital Engineering Space, We are seeking for a highly qualified mechanical engineer to become a part of our center of excellence - NPD (New product development) R&D Team supporting large engagements with multinational clients across Industrial & Heavy Machinery vertical Responsibilities: Work experience in Light / Large Structures Design. Conceives and provides practical product design applications using complex technical principles. Creates concepts and direct the design and development of complex engineering projects. Prepares concept, design, and development and feasibility studies of complex engineering projects. Conducts technical evaluations of major systems on competitive products. Inherent in NPI and CPI * Following and updating designs through build, test, and validation processes. Evaluates, defines, and resolves design and manufacturing problems. Accountable for detailing and releasing prototype to production designs/drawings. Ensuring designs/drawings meet ISO and all relevant standards Required Qualifications. Proficiency in Weld Design Guidelines. Experience in Structural FEA Analysis. Must have a good mechanical aptitude with ability to develop product concepts. Skills and Qualifications: 3 to 8 years working experience in Light / Large Structures Design Must Have Working Experience in CAD Tools like Creo and Creo Simulation Exposure to Automotive / Off Road Heavy Vehicle manufacturing process is an added advantage. Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical / Master’s in Mechanical is preferred Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
