Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and post
general ledger entries
: quarterly investment income, FX adjustments, management fees, capital calls/distributions, and accruals
Reconcile
bank and investment accounts
, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Prepare
NAV calculations
, waterfall modeling (hurdle rate, catch‑up, carry), LP capital schedules and investor statements
Compile
quarterly/annual financial statements and workpapers
, adhering to US GAAP
Support
external audits
: prepare schedules, respond to queries, coordinate with auditors
Manage
capital calls and distributions
: produce memos, track LP commitments, wire transfers and monitor cash flows
Assist in
valuation of private investments
, including DCF, comparables, and review of third-party valuation reports
Implement/maintain
internal controls
and compliance frameworks per fund governance requirements
Prepare
tax and book-to-tax reconciliations
; liaise with the tax team or advisors
Produce
management reports
: cash forecasts, performance metrics (IRR, DPI, MOIC)

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or Finance
; CA/CPA or working toward designation preferred
3–7 years
of fund accounting experience, ideally with private equity or alternative assets
Strong knowledge of
US GAAP / IFRS
, with familiarity in private equity structures, carried interest, and equalisation
Proficiency in
Excel
and fund/accounting software (e.g., Investran, eFront, FIA)
Solid
analytical, organizational
, and
communication skills
; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Experience coordinating
external audits and tax processes
; strong attention to detail
