Immediate Hiring - Engineer/Sr. Engineer - Maintenance (CNC, SMT, SPM)

Role & responsibilities Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Engineer / Sr. Engineer - Machine Maintenance with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in maintaining CNC machines (Grinding, Polishing, Lapping), SPM (Special Purpose Machines), assembly equipment, and other critical production machinery. The candidate will be responsible for minimizing equipment downtime, improving machine reliability, and ensuring smooth operation through preventive and breakdown maintenance strategies. Key Responsibilities: Perform and lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on CNC machines (Grinding, Polishing, Lapping), SPM machines, and assembly equipment. Monitor and improve MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) to ensure high machine availability. Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure the availability of critical components. Maintain and update maintenance logs, service reports, and downtime analysis. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement permanent solutions. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental procedures in maintenance operations. Coordinate with production, engineering, and external service providers for planned and unplanned maintenance tasks. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and machine reliability enhancement projects. Manage maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance plans. Prepare and present maintenance KPIs and reports to management. Guide and mentor junior maintenance staff and technicians. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience (510 years) in maintenance of CNC machines (Grinding, Polishing, Lapping), SPMs, and production assembly machinery in an electronics or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of breakdown maintenance , MTTR , MTBF , and maintenance planning. Hands-on expertise in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting. Familiar with PLCs, automation systems, servo systems (added advantage). Proficient in reading machine manuals, schematics, and technical drawings. Good knowledge of safety standards and statutory compliance related to maintenance. Strong problem-solving, communication, and team management skills. Education: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics from a recognized university (Full-Time, Regular is mandatory ). Strong Communication
