Job Description

We’re hiring an AS400 / IBMi Hybrid Engineer in India.

RPG development


What you’ll work on:

  • Developing and enhancing applications using

    RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, Free-Form RPG, CLP/CLLE

  • Modernizing old AS400 code into clean, maintainable RPGLE
  • Troubleshooting issues across jobs, interfaces, and data flows
  • Supporting IBMi tasks like user setup, job monitoring, PTF coordination, and system checks
  • Automating routine processes and improving performance
  • Working with SQL Server, APIs, ODBC, EDI, FTP, and integration points


What we’re looking for:

  • 5 to 10+ years of hands-on RPG development
  • Strong debugging and SQL skills
  • Good understanding of IBMi environment (not full admin, but enough to support operations)
  • Experience with tools like Turnover, Aldon, or X-Analysis is a plus
  • Ownership mindset interest in fixing and simplifying legacy environments
