Description

Must Have IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) We are looking for a Senior IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Platforms Engineer to support a mission-critical banking environment as part of an Application Management Services (AMS) engagement. The engineer will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting integration platforms built on IBM ACE, IBM MQ, IBM WebSphere, and IBM AIX. The role demands strong technical expertise in platform engineering and operational excellence in middleware environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance of enterprise integration services. Key Responsibilities
Provide platform-level support for IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM MQ, IBM WebSphere, and IBM AIX environments.
Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of middleware components in accordance with change and release management processes.
Monitor system health, resource utilization, and performance of integration components, proactively addressing bottlenecks or failures.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across ACE flows, MQ queues, message flows, and integration nodes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Collaborate with application support teams and developers to ensure optimal integration performance and deployment.
Manage SSL certificates, security configurations, and access controls across middleware platforms.
Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery drills, and performance tuning activities.
Maintain documentation, including runbooks, support procedures, and configuration standards.
Support business continuity by participating in 24x7 on-call rotations and incident response as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
6+ years of experience in middleware platform engineering and production support roles.
Strong hands-on expertise in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM MQ, and IBM WebSphere Application Server.
Solid working knowledge of IBM AIX operating system, including shell scripting and system administration.
Experience in managing production and non-production environments for enterprise integrations.
Proficiency in monitoring tools and log analysis for ACE/MQ/WebSphere environments.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes, particularly incident, change, and problem management.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex integration and infrastructure issues in a regulated banking or financial services environment.
Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams and
