Job Description

As the Hypercare Application Support Analyst at Inchcape Shipping Services, your role is crucial in managing the early life support model for a smooth transition into production as part of the ongoing digital transformation program. You will engage with transformation teams and customers to ensure a fit-for-purpose hypercare model can be deployed efficiently. Your responsibilities include overseeing service support, investigating and identifying problems within the hypercare process, and working closely with product and development teams to ensure smooth transitions into business-as-usual support. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary subject matter expert for critical business applications, troubleshooting complex issues, and aligning application support with strategic goals. - Deep understanding of specific business applications, including functionalities, architecture, data flows, and integration points. - Apply analytical troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex technical issues and identify root causes. - Implement application monitoring systems, collaborate on updates and deployments, and develop comprehensive documentation. - Liaise between the support team and business stakeholders, monitor key performance indicators, and provide exceptional customer service. Qualifications Required: - 5 Years of ITIL Experience in Incident, Problem, and Change processes. - 7+ years of experience in IT Application Support and Service delivery. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience in SAAS integration, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Agile product management tools. - Degree level education or equivalent professional training and experience. - IT application Early Life Support experience is desirable.
