Relevant advanced academic degree (M. Tech and above) in Hydrology, Hydraulic and / or Water Resources engineering with preferably Civil Engineering at B.E./B. Tech level from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act. 1956 or through AICTE. The higher qualification degree candidate will be given extra weightage. b. At least 5 years working experience (3 years in case of Ph.D candidate) in flood modelling using software like MIKE ID, ID-2D coupled, 2D. I-IEC-RAS, HEC-HMS and GIS. c. Extensive knowledge of hydrological and hydrodynamic modelling tools used in flood forecasting; should have a very good experience with rainfall- run-off modelling including pre & post processing of input/output data sets d. Experience of processing of remote sensing data, Al/ML based modelling tools. data management, programming language say Python. modelling in software other than MIKE/HEC say TUFLOW, SWAT. etc will be given extra weightage.
