HW Product Validation Engineer - Audio

We are seeking an experienced Audio Validation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio system validation, with expertise in tools such as Audacity and Spectra Plus, as well as experience with audio DSP. Proficiency in Python is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop test plans for audio system validation
• Execute tests using various tools, including Audacity and Spectra Plus
• Analyze and interpret test results, identifying areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio systems into products
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using Python
• Troubleshoot and debug audio-related issues
• Document test results and provide recommendations for future improvements

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in audio system validation
• Strong knowledge of audio DSP concepts and principles
• Experience with audio analysis tools, such as Audacity and Spectra Plus
• Proficiency in Python programming language
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Nice to Have:

• Experience with audio coding standards (e.g. AAC, MP3)
• Knowledge of psychoacoustics and human hearing perception
• Familiarity with audio processing algorithms (e.g. echo cancellation, noise reduction)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
