Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Operator with a strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and routine maintenance of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, ensuring compliance with cGMP, cleanroom standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor HVAC systems (AHUs, chillers, boilers, BMS, exhaust systems, etc.) to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct daily checks and logging of critical parameters (temperature, humidity, pressure differentials) for classified areas.
  • Maintain environmental conditions as per validated ranges in production and cleanroom areas (Grade A/B/C/D).
  • Troubleshoot and report HVAC system issues or alarms to maintenance or engineering teams.
  • Support periodic qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of HVAC systems and cleanroom validations.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team for deviation handling, CAPA implementation, and change controls.
  • Maintain records of HVAC operations, maintenance logs, filter changes, and breakdown reports.
  • Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of HVAC equipment in coordination with the maintenance team.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, US FDA, EU GMP, WHO, and other regulatory standards.
  • Operate Building Management Systems (BMS) for real-time monitoring and control.
  • Support energy conservation and system optimization initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in HVAC operation within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cleanroom HVAC standards and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with BMS, AHU operation, HEPA filter integrity, and environmental monitoring.
  • Familiar with SOPs, GMP documentation, and regulatory audits.

Key Skills:

  • Understanding of cleanroom classifications (ISO 14644, EU GMP).
  • Knowledge of HVAC controls and instrumentation.
  • Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
  • Familiarity with regulatory audits (USFDA, MHRA, WHO, etc.).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
