HVAC Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design & develop HVAC systems including ducting, piping, and equipment selection.
  
• Perform heat load calculations and prepare detailed design reports.
  
• Conduct site visits to assess existing systems and propose improvements.
  
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors for integrated MEP designs.
  
• Implement energy-efficient design solutions to reduce consumption and costs.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
  
• Prepare drawings, specifications, BOQs, and other technical documentation.
  
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers/team members.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in

  Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

  .

• 5-10 years

  of experience in HVAC/MEP design and implementation.
• Proficient in

  AutoCAD

  , HVAC design tools; knowledge of

  BIM/Revit

  is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of HVAC design principles, standards, and codes.
  
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred candidate profile

Electrical Engineer with 5-10 years experience in designing HVAC Services with relevant site experience and site co-ordinations.

• Hands-on experience in

  AutoCAD

  (mandatory);

  Revit MEP

  preferred.

• Project Exposure:

  Experience in Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, or Hospitality building projects.

• Leadership:

  Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers; strong coordination with architects, consultants, and site teams.

• Other Attributes:

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication, and willingness to take client-facing responsibilities.

• Location Preference:

  Open to work from Bangalore.

• Notice Period:

  Immediate to 60 days preferred.
