Space Aura is a space tourism company from India, for the world. Space Tourists will travel to the edge of space sitting inside a spacious & luxurious Spaceship SKAP 1. The space tourists will witness the spectacular earth & vastness of space travelling by a unique HAB system.

Space Aura will provide an unmatchable life-changing experience through uniquely crafted initiatives. The Spaceship SKAP1 will accommodate 6 Space Tourists and 1 pilot. Our vision is commercial human space missions to accelerate humanity's & India's future in space.

To achieve this goal, we are looking for a highly experienced and talented to lead our technical team.

You will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of our company. You will lead the technical team to design and develop a spaceship prototype, manage the supply of technical equipment and resources, and ensure the safety of our customers. You will also be responsible for managing and sourcing different technologies required for a spaceship, connecting and negotiating with different institutions that can help us build the technology.

Key Responsibilities

-Oversee the technical team and provide guidance on building a spaceship prototype.

-Manage the supply of technical equipment and resources.

-Update the company's technical capabilities by researching and implementing new technologies.

-Source, build and integrate the life support systems, electronic and communication systems.

-Form proper research and application of materials and structure for a spaceship/ space capsule, keeping in mind the constraints of weight, environment, etc. 

-Ensure the safety of our customers by developing and implementing safety protocols.

-Manage and source different technologies required for a spaceship.

-Connect and negotiate with different institutions that can help us build the technology.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field.

-Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical leadership position in the space industry.

- Experience with human spaceflight technologies and system/sub-system, including propulsion, cryogenic systems.

-Proven track record of designing and developing successful vehicles and systems, preferably space vehicles

Extensive knowledge of the latest technological advancements in space travel.

-Strong leadership and management skills.

-Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
