Human Resources Specialist

As an HR Specialist at the school, your role will involve overseeing end-to-end HR operations to ensure smooth recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and effective implementation of school HR policies. Your strong people skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced academic environment will be key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage full-cycle recruitment for academic & non-academic staff. - Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate with department heads. - Complete joining formalities, issue appointment letters, and maintain employee records. - Maintain attendance, leave records, and monthly MIS. - Oversee staff confirmation, appraisals, and contract renewals. - Act as a point of contact for staff queries and grievances. - Plan employee engagement activities, orientation, and training sessions. - Ensure a positive and professional work culture. - Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, POSH, etc.). - Update and implement HR policies as per school requirements. - Maintain updated personnel files and audit-ready documentation. - Assist in goal-setting and appraisal processes. - Identify training needs and coordinate professional development. Skills & Competencies: - Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational & documentation abilities. - Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace. - Knowledge of school HR processes preferred. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Qualifications: - Bachelors/Masters degree in HR, Management, Psychology, or related field. - 2-6 years of HR experience preferably in a K-12 School.
