Job Description

Role Overview: You are an experienced and hands-on HR leader responsible for building and leading the India Human Resources (HR) function. This individual contributor role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and operational skills, offering the opportunity to establish and manage a local team. Your primary focus will be on various HR responsibilities, including recruiting, HR operations, HR business partnership, compensation & benefits, compliance, and more, to lay the foundation for a scalable and high-impact HR organization. Key Responsibilities: - People Strategy & Business Partnership: - Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, aligning people strategy with business goals. - Provide coaching on organizational design, change management, team dynamics, and talent development. - Handle sensitive associate relations issues, conduct investigations, and guide managers on necessary actions. - Talent Acquisition: - Lead recruitment for all India-based roles, from entry-level to senior positions. - Develop talent pipelines and partnerships to support scaling in India. - Manage employer branding efforts locally and align external recruitment agencies with company standards. - HR Operations & Compliance: - Collaborate with global HR operations team on processes like onboarding, offboarding, and policy implementation. - Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements. - Educate associates and leaders on compliance trends and best practices. - Compensation & Benefits: - Design and deliver competitive compensation and benefits for the India market. - Participate in local benchmarking, vendor relationships, and communication around benefits. - Coordinate merit cycles in partnership with U.S. teams. - Learning & Development: - Lead local onboarding and training programs. - Identify skill gaps and propose learning interventions to enhance performance. - Associate Engagement & Culture: - Lead engagement efforts and recognition programs to foster connection and celebration. - Assess sentiment and implement initiatives to strengthen employee experience. - HR Analytics & Reporting: - Track and analyze key HR metrics to guide decisions and influence stakeholders. - Utilize HR Systems data to create insights and recommendations for leadership. Qualification Required: - Proven experience in HR leadership roles. - Strong understanding of HR practices, compliance, and labor laws in India. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to collaborate with global and local stakeholders effectively. - Experience in talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, and learning & development. - Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision-making. - Prior experience in team development and leadership.,
