Job Description

As the Hospital HR Administrator, you will be responsible for managing all human resources functions within the hospital to create an efficient and supportive work environment for hospital staff. Your role includes overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. You will be maintaining and updating employee records and HR data systems with accuracy and confidentiality. Additionally, you will handle compliance with employment laws, hospital protocols, and healthcare-specific regulations. Your duties will also involve managing employee relations, addressing grievances, mediating disputes, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Furthermore, you will coordinate employee training, certification tracking, and statutory requirements. You will conduct performance appraisals, probationary reviews, and support managers in performance management. Assisting with onboarding, offboarding, background checks, leave management, and benefits enrollment will also be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring compliance with policies related to maternity, paternity, adoption, and all leave types is essential. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from staff and managers, providing guidance and support. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Masters preferred). - Minimum of 5 years HR management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. - Sound knowledge of employment laws, healthcare regulations, and compliance requirements. - Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills. - Experience with HR management systems, recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management. Skills that will be valuable in this role: - HR policy development and implementation - Recruitment and selection strategies - Performance management and employee appraisal - Knowledge of healthcare accreditation and regulatory standards - Problem-solving and conflict resolution - High level of discretion and confidentiality - Proficiency in HRIS/HRMS software Please note the job types available for this role include Full-time, Permanent, and Contractual / Temporary with a contract length of 12 months.
