Key Responsibilities Develop detailed 3D piping models in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) based on P&IDs, equipment layouts, and project design standards. Perform pipe routing, nozzle orientation, and equipment interconnection in accordance with project specifications. Generate and extract piping deliverables such as: Piping general arrangement (GA) drawings Isometric drawings and material take-offs (MTOs) Clash detection and interference reports Ensure compliance with ASME, ANSI, API, and project-specific standards. Coordinate closely with process, mechanical, structural, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure accurate and clash-free designs. Participate in 3D model reviews using SmartPlant Review (SPR) or equivalent tools. Update and maintain the SP3D model database, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Work with the SP3D Administrator to manage project catalogs, piping specifications, and reference data libraries. Support field engineering and construction teams by providing design clarifications and as-built updates.
