Job Description

Role Summary

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will be responsible for the entire HR function, acting as both an operational head and a strategic advisor to the Executive and Project Leadership teams. Your primary focus will be aligning people strategy with our project pipeline, mitigating compliance risks, and attracting highly specialized technical talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Project Managers and Engineering heads to forecast specialized manpower needs (Engineers, Site Supervisors, Technicians, HSE staff) for upcoming EPC projects across multiple locations.
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and corporate roles. Develop strategic sourcing channels (job portals, industry networks, recruitment agencies) to attract niche Solar/EPC talent.
  • Proactively build and maintain a talent pool for critical, high-demand project roles to ensure timely project execution and minimize time-to-hire.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all Indian Labour Laws. Manage all required compliance documentation and filings.
  • Develop, implement, and communicate comprehensive HR policies, Employee Handbook, and SOPs tailored for both office and project site employees.
  • Oversee the administration of payroll, benefits, and compensation structures, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness, particularly for site-based allowances and incentives.
  • Drive the annual and half-yearly performance review cycle, linking individual KPIs to project delivery timelines and company goals.
  • Identify training needs, especially for technical upskilling, HSE certifications, and leadership development programs for Project Managers.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, fostering a positive, ethical, and high-performance culture across all sites.
  • Work closely with the Safety team to ensure all HR-related safety compliance, mandatory training records, and policy communication are adhered to by all site personnel.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • MBAin Human Resources
  • Minimum 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in the Solar, Renewable Energy, EPC, Infrastructure, or Heavy Manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage HR for geographically dispersed field/site teams, including bulk and contract hiring.
  • Strong understanding of the organizational structure and specialized roles within an EPC project lifecycle
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian Labour Laws and statutory compliance requirements
  • Immediate Joiner Preferred
