Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities 1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Lead end-to-end recruitment for all departments, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection. Create job descriptions, hiring workflows, and recruitment strategies. Oversee smooth onboarding, induction, and documentation for new hires. 2. HR Operations & Compliance Maintain employee records, HRIS systems, and mandatory documentation. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory requirements. Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership. 3. Employee Engagement & Culture Develop and implement employee engagement programs. Manage internal communication, recognition programs, and cultural initiatives. Address employee concerns professionally and maintain a positive work environment. 4. Performance Management Implement appraisal systems, KPIs, and performance improvement processes. Support managers in setting goals and evaluating team performance. Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development activities. 5. Policies, Payroll & Admin Support Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures. Coordinate payroll inputs, leave management, and attendance systems. Handle disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and exit processes. Handle Canteen and Hostel Management. Preferred candidate profile Education & Experience Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred). 7+ years of experience in HR management or a senior HR generalist role. Experience working in a growing organization/startup environment is a plus. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of HR best practices, HR laws, and statutory compliance. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-management skills. Ability to manage recruitment pipelines and handle multiple priorities. Proactive, organized, and strong problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in HR tools, payroll software, MS Office, and HRIS platforms.
