Job Title: HR Executive

Department: Human Resources

Location: Chennai

Experience Required: 0-3 Years

Job Summary

The HR Executive will be responsible for handling complete HR operations including recruitment, employee lifecycle management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, performance management support, and employee relations. The role requires coordination with management and employees to ensure smooth HR processes and policy adherence.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and offer coordination
  • Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and onboarding documentation
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and induction processes
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring records

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Maintain employee master data and personal files (physical & digital)
  • Handle employee confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exits
  • Manage resignation, exit formalities, and final settlement coordination
  • Conduct and document exit interviews

Attendance, Leave & Payroll Coordination

  • Maintain attendance and leave records
  • Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with finance/payroll vendors
  • Verify salary components, deductions, and reimbursements
  • Address employee queries related to payroll and attendance

Statutory Compliance

  • Handle statutory compliances such as PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, and Labour Laws
  • Coordinate with consultants for statutory filings and audits
  • Maintain compliance records and documentation

Performance & Appraisal Support

  • Assist in performance review cycles and appraisal processes
  • Track appraisal timelines and documentation
  • Support management in employee performance records

HR Policies & Employee Relations

  • Implement and ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures
  • Address employee grievances and coordinate resolutions
  • Support disciplinary actions and documentation when required
  • Act as a point of contact for employee HR-related queries

HR Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare HR MIS reports (headcount, attrition, attendance, etc.)
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee data
  • Support audits and internal reviews

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of HR processes and Indian labour laws
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and HRMS tools
  • Good organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Good command in English Language

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelors in Human Resources or equivalent (mandatory)
