Job Description

Role Overview: As a Supply Planning Lead at Hitachi Energy, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply planning process framework. Your role will involve balancing customer demand with supply capabilities, optimizing service levels, cost efficiency, and supply chain resilience in a project-driven environment. You will champion advanced analytics, scenario modeling, and digital tools to enable proactive decision-making and foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Lead supply planning for engineer-to-order projects, managing 12-36+ month horizons - Develop and maintain capacity models and safety stock policies for high-mix, low-volume production - Implement Plan for Every Part focusing on unique components and maintain ERP parameters - Conduct what-if analyses for disruptions and develop contingency plans for capacity bottlenecks - Facilitate monthly Supply Review meetings, prepare pre-read materials, and document decisions - Monitor KPIs such as Supply Plan Accuracy, On-Time Delivery, Inventory Turns, and Asset Utilization - Mentor planners in best practices, promote cross-functional collaboration, agility, and data-driven decision-making - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations and guidelines Qualifications Required: - Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred) - 5 to 7 years of experience in supply planning, material management, or S&OP in industrial equipment manufacturing - Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP S/4 MM, PP) and analytical tools like Power BI, Tableau, Excel - Certifications such as CPIM or equivalent preferred - Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills Company Details: Hitachi Energy offers 16 days annual leave, a flexible working policy, and benefits according to local standards.
