HTML/CSS Developer

At Contour Education, we are looking for an HTML/CSS Developer to create responsive, high-quality templates that enhance our digital communication and marketing efforts.

This is a hands-on role focused purely on HTML and CSS. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to build modular, responsive layouts, ensure they perform well across devices, and maintain high accessibility and compliance standards.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys clean, precise coding and takes pride in building layouts that look perfect everywhere.

You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our library of responsive HTML/CSS templates, ensuring consistent design quality and performance.

• Convert Figma designs into HTML/CSS templates
  

• Code modular components and blocks for flexible assembly
  

• Ensure full responsiveness, dark mode compatibility, and accessibility
  

• Implement templates inside SendGrid with dynamic fields and personalization tags
  

• Implement templates inside HubSpot for marketing automation and campaign deployment
  

• Test and fix rendering issues across major email clients and devices
  

• Conduct accessibility validation, including contrast, screen reader compatibility, and alt text
  

• Verify dark mode styling and maintain consistent visual presentation
  

• Ensure compliance with email standards and spam regulations (AU, CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
  

• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand templates
  

• Document key workflows, reusable components, and coding guidelines for the Contour team

• 2 5 years of experience in HTML/CSS development
  

• Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
  

• Hands-on experience with SendGrid
  

• Hands-on experience with HubSpot
  

• Experience testing and debugging across multiple devices and clients
  

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to design accuracy
  

• Awareness of accessibility and performance best practices
  

• Experience using Litmus or Email on Acid for QA testing
  

• Understanding of dark mode design and accessibility standards
  

• Familiarity with modular template design and reusable components
  

• Basic understanding of email marketing automation or campaign setup
  

• Enjoy building clean, organized, and reusable code
  

• Have a strong eye for detail and design consistency
  

• Like collaborating across teams and taking ownership of your work
