HSE Officer

Description

We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE policies and procedures.
• Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Identifying potential hazards and risks in the workplace and recommending corrective actions.
• Providing HSE training and awareness programs for employees.
• Investigating incidents and accidents, preparing reports, and implementing preventive measures.
• Collaborating with management to promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
• Monitoring and reporting on HSE performance metrics and compliance requirements.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable in India.
• Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using HSE management software and tools.
