Description
As an HSE Manager at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's health, safety, and environmental engineering efforts. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety for employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices in engineering-related safety. Reporting directly to the Sr HSEF Manager, you will be based in Minneapolis, MN, working on an on-site schedule. Your impact on the organization will involve overseeing the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders will be essential to integrating HSE considerations into business processes and decision-making, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the business as a responsible and sustainable organization. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in developing and implementing HSE strategies aligned with the organization's mission to foster a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility. - Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals, including engineers, specialists, and support staff, to ensure efficient and effective HSE engineering practices. - Ensure organizational compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications. Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in HSE engineering. - Leadership and team management skills. - Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices. - Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field. - 3+ years of leadership and direct team management skills. - Passion for promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. - Strong business acumen and ability to align HSE engineering with organizational goals. Note: Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S. The annual base salary range for this position is $115K - $145K.
