Job Description

Description

We are seeking a qualified HSE Inspector to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting inspections, and promoting a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and recommend corrective actions to management.
Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
Conduct safety training sessions for employees and ensure they understand safety protocols.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.
Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental inspection or a related role.
Strong knowledge of local and national health and safety regulations.
Proficient in risk assessment and incident investigation techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and reporting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in using safety management software and tools.
